Job Summary
Group Leader Clinical Proteomics leads the clinical proteomics group in Toulouse within Evotec’s Omics function, focusing on applying targeted and untargeted proteomics methods to large-scale analysis of clinical samples, and on spatial proteomics analysis of tissue and tumor slices. Responsible for leading the group, contributing to business strategy for clinical proteomics, interfacing with related functions (e.g., E.MPD, translational biomarker, immune-oncology), coordinating with OMICs leadership, aligning with other OMICs departments, and liaising with client project managers to present the platform and initiate new proteomics studies. Requires strong leadership, long-standing expertise in quantitative proteomics, experience managing proteomics datasets, excellent communication, independence, reliability, and fluency in English; PhD in relevant field and extensive biotech/pharma experience with a proven track record in leading teams.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry or related fields
- Many years of experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry
- Proven experience in leading teams
- Strong leadership skills and experience supervising international teams
- Experience applying quantitative proteomics approaches to targeted and untargeted analysis of clinical samples and spatial proteomics
- Knowledge in management, analysis and interpretation of proteomics datasets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
- Ability to write scientific English
