Job Summary
Oversee daily departmental operations by performing and demonstrating key tasks with high proficiency while guiding team members through hands-on work. Manage workflow, assign tasks, and adjust schedules to meet production demands, ensuring product quality through inspections before final release. Provide daily coaching, mentor new employees, and support process improvements by applying knowledge of standards, equipment, and tools. Enforce production policies, maintain a clean environment adhering to 6S standards, and interact professionally with customers as needed. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of department processes and equipment to solve problems and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months or more experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting
- Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business and production demands
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance, in-person and on-site
Desired Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience
- Associate or trade certificate(s) related to the job function
- Computer literate with Microsoft office
