Job Summary
Plan and execute educational, recreational, and enrichment activities for children in before/after school and summer programs, adapting them to different age groups and individual needs. Supervise children at all times to ensure safety and well-being, enforce program rules, and address behavioral issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of attendance and incidents, report concerns to supervisors, and assist in preparing documentation. Collaborate with the program coordinator and other staff to ensure cohesive delivery, communicate regularly about progress, and provide feedback to improve operations. Manage and distribute program materials, assist with setup and cleanup, and participate in required training and monthly staff meetings. Support and mentor new staff members as needed.

- Ability to manage a group of children and ensure their safety and well-being
- Ability to adapt activities and approaches to meet the needs of diverse participants
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address conflicts or issues effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and program stakeholders
- Ability to create a fun and supportive environment for children
- Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to the well-being and development of children
