Group Leader 2

Lead Global Manufacturing Systems processes and support launch and pilot activities while meeting production cost schedules and quality requirements. Manage hourly team members through training, development, and evaluation, ensuring they receive adequate job instruction training and utilize standardized methods. Coach and mentor Group Leaders to apply lean manufacturing principles for variation reduction, productivity improvements, and cost control. Maintain awareness of quality standards, administer National and Local Agreements with the United Auto Workers Union, and promote safe work practices, ergonomics, and housekeeping. Build effective relationships with employees, union, and management to solve quality issues and prevent reoccurrence of known problems.
