Group Lead- VTC Assembly E Shift

Job Summary
Maintain control over the VTC assembly production line by ensuring all daily activities are communicated to supervisors and interacting with Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams. Troubleshoot product quality and performance issues while keeping the environment safe, neat, and organized. Monitor equipment for unusual sounds or movements, address abnormalities, and perform simple part changes to facilitate product changeovers. Utilize ISO14000 and TS16949 knowledge to verify associates follow procedures, check product dimensions via in-process inspection, and record process settings on verification check sheets. Complete all production, scrap, and downtime reports properly and timely. Work the E shift (Monday through Friday, 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.) with flexibility for overtime to support production goals.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Three (3) years manufacturing experience
- Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports
- Basic math skills
- Sufficient Manual dexterity to operate machines properly
- Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines, and visually inspect parts products
- Physical ability to do work requiring frequent stooping and bending
- Physical strength sufficient to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently
- Utilizing knowledge of ISO14000 & TS16949
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to sit
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to climb or balance
- Must be able to stoop, push, pull, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to talk or hear
- Must be able to work in a warehouse/production environment
- Must be able to work near moving mechanical parts
- Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels
- Must be able to work in areas requiring the use of personal protective equipment
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass background checks
- Must respect work hours
- Must support production goals and time-tables
- Must be willing to work overtime
- Must be available for E shift (Monday through Friday) 7:00 p.m. to 5:30a.m.
