Job Summary
Lead and supervise a manufacturing team on the shop floor, coordinating daily production activities, and ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Serve as the central point of coordination with Production Managers, and collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to maintain smooth production flow and drive continuous improvement. Manage department performance against KPIs, assign and prioritize work based on schedules and materials, support onboarding and training, perform first-pass quality checks, promote a safe and organized work environment, respond quickly to disruptions, and coordinate orders and workflow to meet shipping commitments. Emphasize process improvements and a culture of accountability and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading or supervising teams in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coach, develop, and motivate employees
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
