Job Summary
Group IT Cloud Administrator responsible for building and deploying in the Azure environment, monitoring and responding to incidents, and day-to-day maintenance of the Azure operation. Responsibilities include real-time monitoring of Azure services, managing VMs via portals, proactive Azure work with Architects/Engineering, reporting bugs and feature requests, deep technical troubleshooting across Azure services, performance and utilization monitoring, ensuring uptime and load balancing, cost and performance optimization, regular health checks, resource management, infrastructure configuration recommendations, and security auditing. Requires broad cloud experience across Windows/Linux, strong problem-solving, customer-focused collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ability to operate under pressure. Working hours are predominantly 8am–5pm with potential for off-hours support, located at Digicel Group IT Shared Services, Head Office in Maraval Road, Technology, Port of Spain, TT.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related studies
- Applicable Azure related certifications, AZ-104 preferred
- Experience in IT Operational environment; cloud experience is asset
- Experience with enterprise customers on Cloud solutions, application development and deployment
- Proven history of customer-obsession (e.g., blog posts, how-to videos)
- Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and providing solutions for technical issues
- ITIL certification considered an asset
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies across Windows and/or Linux; hands-on Azure Compute, Storage, Networking
