Job Summary
Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees, providing practical advice on HR matters, policies, and employment legislation. Support HR Business Partners by handling employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management, while maintaining accurate records and conducting exit interviews. Manage recruitment activities from advertising to onboarding, and assist with payroll administration and benefits processing. Produce regular HR reports, review policies, and contribute to engagement initiatives aligned with company values. Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver a professional service, keeping up to date with legislative changes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience operating within an HR function
- Experience of building relationships with managers and employees
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity at all times
- A team player, committed to working with colleagues within the HR team and the wider business to achieve our goals
- Proactive, pragmatic and flexible in approach
- Logical and analytical problem solving
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills
- Demonstrable experience of strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the business
- Fully conversant with the full Microsoft Office suite
- CIPD qualified or with HR experience and willing to work towards CIPD qualifications
- English and mathematics GCSE pass level or equivalent
