Job Summary
Oversee a single program location for adults and adolescents with mental illness, brain injury, or chemical dependency, providing training, supervision, and support to Direct Support Professional staff. Coordinate, lead, and evaluate services while ensuring compliance with 245D licensing requirements. Perform direct care depending on site needs and be available to support additional locations during transitions. Core schedule is 10am-6pm Mon-Fri, with flexibility required for evenings and weekends. Starting salary is $24.00 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- 1 of the following: a baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older
- an associate degree in a field related to human services, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older
- a diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited post-secondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older
- a minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications of Program Supervisor I or Designated Coordinator/Manager level as defined by the Department of Human Services 245D license standards
- a valid driver's license

- eligibility for Minnesota Department of Human Services Background Study
- eligibility for Motor Vehicle Background check (MVR)
- availability to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends
