Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate activities of Direct Support employees while managing operations of 1-3 facilities providing Non-ICF services. Work closely with clinical staff to maintain communication, standardize procedures, and expedite person-centered plans. Monitor and provide feedback on staff interactions with supported individuals across all three shifts, resolve employee issues, and conduct performance reviews. Ensure staff meet training requirements, audit medication administration, and monitor select budget items. Provide after-hours and on-call coverage as part of the direct care rotation. Requires one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities, CPR certification, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Full-time role with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities
- Flexible schedule and availability to provide on-call coverage as needed
- Ability to lift between 20 and 50 lbs.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to occasionally pull at least 50 lbs.
- Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop as part of regular job duties
- Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, or controls
- Required to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from floor level, which requires working on hands and knees, bending, standing, and lifting
- Vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision
- Must be able to talk and hear
- Complete criminal background Name checked in the registries (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)
- Drug testing
- Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements
- Proof of employment history or references (if required)
- Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals
Desired Qualifications
- CPR, first aid, NCI and/or MedTech certification, a plus
