Job Summary
Group Home Caregiver provides direct support within residential programs for 4-6 individuals (up to 10 in some programs), performing tasks such as socialization, health maintenance, medication administration, and activities of daily living; responsibilities include personal care, housekeeping, transportation, community integration, records documentation, and ensuring safety and confidentiality in line with individual service plans; requires strong teamwork, the ability to transport and assist with medical appointments when needed, and adherence to safety policies. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, 18 years of age, valid driver’s license, background checks, and completion of mandated trainings; schedule includes alternating weekend shifts (Saturdays and Sundays 3PM-10PM) with part-time/full-time options.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months of experience in human services preferred
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- All required state trainings/certifications completed in mandated timeframes
