Job Summary
Design and implement group-wide rules and policies, managing projects such as electronic signature systems and decision-making authority renewals. Coordinate administrative functions for the Risk and Compliance Committee, including document submission for important meetings and facilitating communication events within the Supervisory Department. Support the CCO and management team in tackling individual group issues and promoting company-wide themes like AI adoption. This role requires a flexible generalist with 2+ years of project management or corporate planning experience, including PMO activities and budget management. Candidates must possess strong facilitation, research, and presentation skills to negotiate with stakeholders ranging from the Board of Directors to various departments.
Required Qualifications
- Generalist: Someone who, rather than specializing in a specific field, possesses a broad range of knowledge and skills and can adapt flexibly to various situations from a comprehensive perspective
- Problem-solving skills; Facilitation, project management, research, analyze, plan, and make presentations
- Communication skills; Propose and negotiate with various stakeholders of Rakuten Group (including Board of Directors)
- Documentation skills: planning contents and creating documents using MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- At least 2 years of experience in project management (including process development, PMO activities, and communication with internal and external stakeholders)
- Experience in corporate planning and management (including leading company-wide projects, serving as a secretariat for key meetings such as executive board meetings, and budget management)
