Group Head of People Systems and Data

Job Summary
Strategic leadership role to define and deliver the Group People Systems strategy and roadmap, oversee the design, implementation and ongoing optimisation of HR technology solutions across the employee lifecycle, and ensure data integrity, governance and quality of people data across HR systems. Lead workforce analytics, dashboards and reporting to support evidence-based decisions; drive automation and continuous improvement within the People function; manage vendor relationships and partnerships; partner with HR, IT and Finance to translate operational requirements into scalable solutions; ensure compliance with employment law, GDPR and regulatory requirements across multiple geographies; develop and lead a high-performing People Systems function and stay ahead of market trends to enhance capability and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience) in HR, Information Systems, Business or related discipline; HR technology certification advantageous
- Significant experience leading People Systems / HR Technology functions within a complex, multi-site or global organisation
- Strong knowledge of enterprise HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or equivalent) with proven implementation in multi-site organisations
- Experience delivering systems transformation, process improvement and data governance programmes
- Strong analytical capability to translate workforce data into actionable insight
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and working cross-functionally across HR, IT and Finance
- Understanding of systems architecture, governance and operational excellence
- Experience managing external people technology vendors and strategic partnerships
