Job Summary
Design and implement domestic and cross-border investment structures based on commercial objectives. Establish and maintain governance frameworks for investment vehicles, including companies, trusts, SPVs, and other holding structures. Guide boards through corporate actions, steer acquisitions, capital contributions, restructures, and disposals, while overseeing trustee oversight under the AFSL. Work with boards, management teams, and external advisers on licensing, compliance, and risk management matters. Perform Responsible Manager duties and coordinate with fund administrators, trustees, custodians, and auditors to ensure regulatory adherence. Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in investment structuring, family office, asset management, trustee services or funds management
- Strong knowledge of cross border investment structures and the tax, legal and regulatory considerations that come with them
- Demonstrated experience managing sophisticated group structures across companies, trusts, SPVs and other vehicles
- Strong background in corporate governance, family office operations and asset protection, with confidence working across boards, shareholders and senior executives
- Practical experience in fund administration, trustee services and the Australian financial services regulatory environment
- Sharp eye for structural, governance, regulatory and operational risk, with the ownership to see complex transactions through to completion
- High level of judgement, confidentiality and professionalism handling sensitive investment and ownership matters
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as an AFSL Responsible Manager, or the qualifications and experience to meet Responsible Manager competency requirements
- Exposure to financial products including basic deposit products, FX contracts, government debentures, shares, bonds, securities, Managed Investment Schemes and IDPS or excluded IDPS arrangements
