Job Summary
Provide high-quality, engaging instruction for all Group Fitness classes while adhering to GoodLife's delivery standards and promoting member engagement. Encourage continued class participation, share club service information, and review workout plans and scripting to ensure smooth delivery. Source class music, learn new release material, and arrive promptly to start classes on time. Offer feedback to the General Manager regarding schedules and studios to enhance the member experience. Requires current CPR-A and AED certification and relevant fitness credentials. Base wage starts at $32.00 per hour, with total compensation ranging from $32.00 to $56.00 depending on experience and class duration.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a relevant certification to be considered
- Must have current CPR-A and AED
- Must be able to upload a copy of all certifications when applying
- Must be able to attend a live or virtual movement screen
- Must be able to provide a high quality, safe and enjoyable experience
- Must be able to embody the essence of the programming assigned
- Must meet GoodLife's standard of delivery
- Must be able to promote/support all Group Experience programming
- Must be able to encourage continued participation in classes
- Must be able to increase Member engagement and adherence
- Must be able to share guidance, recommendations and information about all Club services
- Must be able to stay informed of information to speak to during classes
- Must follow all class operating procedures
- Must be able to encourage Members to book into their next class
- Must be able to source/downloads class music to personal devices
- Must be able to learn new release material & scripting
- Must be able to review workout plans & scripting prior to class
- Must be able to ensure smooth and accurate class delivery
- Must be able to stay up to date with any education or changes in programming
- Must be able to stay informed about information relative to their Club
- Must be able to arrive in time to ensure class starts on time
- Must be able to provide feedback to the General Manager
- Must be able to seek ways to help ensure positive Member experiences
- Must be dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of both internal and external customers
- Must be able to respond and relate well to Leaders
- Must put a lot of effort into their activities
- Must be personally committed to and actively works towards continually improving themselves
- Must be helpful to the rest of the team/other teams
