Job Summary
Teach scheduled group fitness classes, ensuring they begin and end on time with adequate warm-up, content, stretching, and cool-downs. Demonstrate proper technique, prepare appropriate equipment and music, and educate members on effective workout methods while maintaining a positive, engaging atmosphere. Monitor fitness and safety throughout the session to support members in reaching their health goals. Assist facility management in promoting promotions and profit centers to build class participation and offerings. Valid CPR certification required; nationally accredited aerobic certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must maintain valid CPR Certification
- Ability to motivate members towards participating in Group X Fitness classes
- Strong desire to help and assist members in reaching their overall health and fitness goals
Desired Qualifications
- Nationally Accredited Aerobic Certification: AFAA, ACE or NASM preferred
