Job Summary
As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will deliver an exceptional class experience, motivating members and helping them achieve their fitness goals. Responsibilities include tracking attendance, responding to member concerns, and participating in staff training. Experience in teaching various exercise classes is required, along with a nationally accredited fitness certification and CPR/AED certification. The role demands strong communication and customer service skills and may involve physical tasks such as prolonged standing and lifting.
Required Qualifications
- Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels
- Ability to provide a high energy class environment
- Physical ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification (AFAA, ACE, or NASM preferred)
- CPR/AED certification (to be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service orientation
