Job Summary
The Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for delivering superior class experiences and motivating members on their fitness journeys. The role requires expertise in leading various exercise classes and necessitates a Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification along with CPR/AED certification. Responsibilities include tracking attendance, engaging with members, and participating in ongoing training. The Instructor must provide a high-energy class environment and possess strong communication skills to ensure exceptional service. This position offers part-time or full-time hours with compensation starting at $20 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in teaching various exercise classes such as bootcamp, Kickboxing, Zumba, TRX, Yoga, Pilates, Cycle, POUND, HIIT
- Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification (AFAA, ACE, or NASM preferred)
- CPR/AED certification (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service orientation
