Job Summary
The Group Fitness Instructor will deliver a superior class experience, helping members achieve their fitness goals and respond to any related issues. Responsibilities include providing motivational instruction during group fitness classes, maintaining class attendance records, participating in staff meetings, and engaging with social media updates. Required qualifications include a Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification and CPR/AED certification. The position may be part-time or full-time, offering a starting wage of $20/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification (AFAA, ACE, or NASM preferred)
- CPR/AED certification (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels (bootcamp, kickboxing, Zumba, TRX, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to provide a high energy class environment
