Group Fitness Coordinator

Job Summary
Recruit, hire, train, and oversee the development of a team of Class-ic Instructors while actively teaching 10% of group fitness classes. Prepare, maintain, and distribute regular, override, and holiday class schedules, ensuring accurate submissions and consistent coverage with minimal last-minute changes. Facilitate the implementation of new Group Fitness programming, manage payroll and reporting, and provide seasonal inventory to the General Manager. Lead quarterly staff meetings for onsite training and new class rollouts, communicate via weekly emails and monthly Zooms, and respond to all member issues concerning group fitness classes. Act as a visible club leader who embodies Crunch culture, aligns with the Club Management team, and promotes instructor involvement as a role model.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience creating group fitness schedules
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification (AFAA, ACE, or NASM)
- CPR/AED certification
- Able to lift or move up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Physical effort required for daily duties include prolonged standing and walking
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor degree
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels (ie bootcamp based classes, Kickboxing, Zumba, TRX, Sculpt, Yoga Pilates, Cycle, POUND, and HIIT)
- Experience with budget and expense management
- Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification (AFAA, ACE, or NASM) preferred
- CPR/AED certification (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Bachelor degree preferred
