Job Summary
Lead high-energy group fitness sessions at the Manayunk studio, guiding up to 36 participants through predesigned HIIT, circuit, and functional training workouts. Demonstrate proper form, monitor heart rates, and provide real-time coaching cues to ensure safety and technique while motivating diverse members and guests. Prepare daily workout designs, manage class flow, and conduct in-person goal-oriented consultations for trial guests. Maximize studio utilization by assisting the Head Coach and Sales Manager, while utilizing networking skills to generate leads and drive trial conversions. Maintain brand standards through active participation in events, staff development, and adherence to all safety and operational policies.
Required Qualifications
- Active CPR/AED Certification
- Primary NCCA approved certification
- F45 Trainer Certification
- Agree to continued education with F45 Academy for internal brand training certification
- Part-time employment status
- Ability to coach an average of 5 sessions per week at home F45 Studio (minimum)
- Ability to lead up to 36 participants through F45 specific group training sessions
- Well-versed in high-intensity interval training
- Knowledge of heart rate response
- Knowledge of physiology
- Knowledge of exercise technique
- Knowledge of body mechanics
- Strong ability to coach and manage time
- Ability to motivate multiple clients in a group setting
- Ability to produce a high-energy and positive experience for members
- Ability to teach proper technique
- Ability to demonstrate proper form
- Ability to identify and coach proper human movement patterns
- Knowledge of biomechanics
- Knowledge of alignment
- Knowledge of flexibility
- Ability to provide personalized client experience through dynamic coaching
- Ability to utilize voice projection and voice interaction
- Ability to conduct in-person, goal-oriented consultations with all trial guests
- Ability to greet guests by name
- Ability to empower and educate guests and members with a clear understanding of F45 Methodology and Athletic Programming
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of equipment used in every workout
- Ability to utilize new F45 technologies
- Ability to adapt to industry developments
- Ability to set-up, breakdown, clean, and store equipment around the studio floor
- Ability to participate in monthly staff meetings and educational presentations
- Ability to participate in webinars as required
- Ability to assist in trial conversion process including studio tours, Inbody Scans, Consultations, and Membership Pricing Presentations
- Ability to utilize personal networking for leads, opportunities, and relationships
- Ability to communicate and participate effectively in internal and external communication channels
- Ability to lead by example and take at least one session a week as a brand ambassador
- Ability to follow studio and brand policies regarding standard operating procedures, communication, etiquette, and uniform standards
- Ability to participate in Events including Challenges, Playoffs, Speciality, Signature Workout Programming, Member Socials, and Studio Events
- Ability to attend meetings for one on ones, staff development, workshops, or performance evaluations
- Ability to be a hospitality champion who treats guests, staff, and members with the utmost care
- A college degree in an exercise science-related field or any field does NOT exempt a coach or coach candidate from obtaining one of the required certifications
- A primary NCCA Certification is required regardless if an individual has a degree
