Job Summary
Lead the preparation and consolidation of group financial statements ensuring full compliance with IFRS and local standards. Oversee quarterly and annual closing activities across multiple subsidiaries, perform variance analysis against budgets, and manage intercompany reconciliations. Drive the group's budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes including support for M&A initiatives. Ensure adherence to statutory reporting requirements, prepare board-level reports, and coordinate external audits. Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, ACCA/CPA qualification, and minimum 10 years of finance experience with 3-5 years in a senior controller role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance
- At least 3-5 years in a senior financial management or controller role
- Proven experience in group financial consolidation
- Experience in a multi-entity environment
- Advanced Excel skills
- Financial modelling expertise
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, local GAAP)
- Knowledge of financial reporting requirements
