Group Financial Controller

Job Summary
Lead Treasury Management and oversee cash flow monitoring, liquidity planning, and banking relationships. Review monthly accounting close activities to ensure accurate management reporting across the Group, implementing consolidation processes and quality controls. Ensure compliance with local laws, accounting standards, and tax obligations, including redesigning transfer pricing policies. Optimize finance and accounting processes for foreign offices to improve efficiency and scalability while contributing to internal controls frameworks. Manage relationships with external service providers and act as the key Finance contact for partners responsible for foreign offices.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified finance professional
- degree in finance, accounting, audit, or a related discipline
- Proven ability to supervise, guide, and develop at least one finance team member
- hands-on in day-to-day financial operations
- Significant experience in financial control, audit or group reporting
- Experience in a professional services, law firm, or multi-entity international environment
- Experience with treasury management
- Experience with tax compliance
- Experience with transfer pricing
- Experience with financial consolidation in a multi-GAAP environment
- Strong understanding of internal controls
- Strong understanding of process improvement
- Strong understanding of finance governance frameworks
- Hands-on, structured, and pragmatic mindset
- ability to build processes in a newly created role
- Experience in cross-functional roles
- ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across offices and seniority levels
- Excellent communication skills in English
- High standards of integrity, discretion, and professionalism, consistent with a law firm environment
