Job Summary
Prepare monthly management reporting packs including cash flow forecasting, stock analysis, and sales analysis. Forecast half-year and year-end financial results while reviewing competitor results and industry trends. Assist with Group consolidation, prepare external reporting, and work with external auditors throughout the audit process. Prepare subsidiary and joint venture statutory accounts for approximately 40 entities and monitor financial statement disclosures. Review the impact and development of international accounting standards and analyze the financial effects of proposed Group projects. This role combines financial reporting and analysis for a FTSE 250 Group within the corporate head office team. Based at Oval, London with travel to Cobham, Surrey required.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant ACA
- Essential to possess excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Motivated with a positive 'can do' attitude and genuine curiosity about how a business operates beyond the audit file
- Good organisational skills
- Diligent, with strong attention to detail
- Confident interacting with senior stakeholders in a corporate head office environment, and keen to build on client-facing experience gained in practice
- Ability to multitask and prioritise work according to timescales
- Professional approach and high level of discretion
- Team player, willing to learn and get involved in a wide range of tasks beyond the audit cycle
- Ability to work on own initiative and generate solutions
- Travel to Cobham, Surrey required
