Job Summary
Develop treatment plans in concert with Program Director or Clinical Supervisor reflecting specialized Track issues regarding physical, medical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs. Facilitate group counseling, family sessions, and encounter groups while ensuring sessions start on time and run as scheduled. Use the agency's Electronic Health Record to input client participation information, including planning and progress notes, and complete all paperwork per OASAS regulations. Implement strategies to increase patient participation and adhere to multidisciplinary treatment recommendations. Informs counseling staff of relevant clinical concerns and participates in Treatment Plan Reviews and Case Conferences. Requires one to two years of experience facilitating groups within an 822 Opioid Treatment Program, knowledge of trauma-informed care, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHR.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least One-Two (1-2) years related experience in facilitating groups within an 822 Opioid Treatment Program
- Knowledge and/or training in Trauma Informed Care and various organizational treatment
- Knowledge of and experience working with persons with co-occurring disorders
- Knowledge of the laws regarding personnel and client information
- Knowledge of Client Rights
- Knowledge of Code of Ethics
- Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHR
- Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds
