Job Summary
Deliver educational programs in a group format for adult men convicted of domestic violence offenses, focusing on relationship impact and stress management skills. Provide case formulations regarding client treatment readiness and problem identification while attending required trainings and supervision. Maintain documentation in compliance with agency standards and participate in staff meetings as assigned. Schedule is flexible with approximately 10 hours per week. This program is a 26-week manualized intervention for offenders, with referrals currently coming from probation officers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with content area: eg. Substance abuse, domestic violence
- Experience with groups or education setting
- For PTIP: CAC plus relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree
- For PTIP, substance abuse credential
- Training in content area of group
- Must attend supervision as assigned for program
- Attends trainings as assigned and required
- Maintain documentation in compliance with agency and program standards
- Participates in staff meetings, supervision, trainings and other meetings as assigned
