Job Summary
Facilitate evidence-informed groups within a structured intensive day-based program for clients across all stages of substance use, addressing harmful substance use, coping skills, and relapse prevention. Respond to the full range of psychoactive substances including alcohol, illicit drugs, and emerging synthetics while considering support needs for clients and their families. Collaborate with service providers to achieve client treatment goals and flexibly meet varying needs through outreach and extended hours between 6 am and 8 pm. Operate within national and state harm minimisation frameworks while being culturally responsive to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' social and emotional needs.
Required Qualifications
- A current, unrestricted driver's license
- The ability to travel as required
- A current Blue Card
