Job Summary
Instruct and promote Group Exercise and Wellness Center programming; manage member check-in and attendance using online registration; enforce Group Exercise guidelines for equipment usage, attire, and conduct; maintain cleanliness and safety of the designated spaces; provide resources in health and fitness programming; ensure programs meet YMCA national standards; report accidents and maintain safety as a priority; participate in required trainings and staff meetings; part-time role with evening shifts in Andover, MA; CPR-certified and a nationally approved Group Exercise Instructor.
Required Qualifications
- Current CPR certification (must have with 60 days of hire)
- Certified Group Exercise Instructor from Nationally approved certification (YMCA, AFAA, Spinning or ACE)
- Complete New Employee Orientation within 60 days of hire
- Complete online Child Abuse Prevention Training before first day of employment
- Must have good human relations skills
- Must be committed to Merrimack Valley YMCA’s mission, goals, and Character Development
