Job Summary
Teach a variety of group exercise classes while working flexible hours to meet members' needs, including evenings and some weekends. Hold a current, nationally recognized group exercise certification along with current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications. Advance instructors earn $27-$30 per hour based on qualifications and certifications, while standard instructors earn $20-$22 per hour.
