Lead energizing, fun, and safe group exercise classes while supporting YMCA mission and goals. Build authentic relationships with members, answering questions related to healthy living, and maintaining knowledge of wellness trends. Responsibilities include keeping accurate attendance records and supporting members in achieving their personal fitness goals.
Required Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve a diverse community
- CPR & First Aid Certified
- Must have completed a Basic Instructor Training Course and/or completed one specialty certification
Desired Qualifications
- Multi-lingual skills
- National Group Exercise Certification (ACE, AFAA, ACSM, or NETA) and/or BS in related field
