Group Exercise Instructor - Aqua Formats

Conduct assigned group exercise classes, starting and ending on time while maintaining an average of eight participants per session. Substitute for other instructors when requested, providing at least one week's notice for vacation coverage or class substitutions. Communicate schedule changes, new classes, and special announcements to members and supervisors, ensuring all workouts follow YMCA standards and safety guidelines. Provide modifications for participants of all levels, monitor high-risk areas like locker rooms, and respond to medical emergencies with CPR/First Aid certification. Report equipment issues and complete accident/incident reports within 24 hours of any incidents. Maintain required certifications in specialty formats and national group exercise standards.
