Job Summary
Senior operational leader responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple events within the Health & Nutrition portfolio. Drives portfolio alignment with a three-year plan, ensures profitability, customer satisfaction, and brand eminence, and reports on portfolio revenue, costs, KPIs, and forecasts to the SVP. Leads and mentors cross-functional event teams, escalates operational challenges, and collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Content, Event Operations, Customer Service, Housing, and Finance to ensure seamless execution. Contributes to portfolio strategy, drives innovation in event design, partners with Marketing on customer engagement, and oversees multi-event budgets to optimize costs and profitability. Represents the portfolio with sponsors, exhibitors, and stakeholders; supports strategic partnerships and sponsorship opportunities; monitors market trends to inform strategy, sales, marketing, and event design. Emphasizes sustainability in events, introduces innovative formats to improve attendee and sponsor value, and demonstrates a track record of delivering high-quality results and achieving financial targets.
Required Qualifications
- 10–12 years of experience in event management
- at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple events or portfolios
- strong financial acumen and budget management
- ability to lead and mentor event teams
- experience collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Content, Event Operations, Customer Service, Housing, and Finance
- passion for delivering exceptional attendee experiences and building sponsor value
