Job Summary
Group Director of Sales leads 5-10 multi-level sales professionals across new business development and account management within an identified sales territory. Accountable for developing, managing and executing a multi-level sales plan to attain revenue growth and business retention goals. Plans and directs strategic and tactical marketing initiatives for the assigned territory, guides processes and activities to retain and grow current customers, and interfaces with customers to maximize opportunities across Ryder's products and services. Requires advanced knowledge of financial elements and transportation/logistics understanding; demonstrates leadership, motivation, customer focus, business acumen, and ability to drive results. This role involves travel up to 50% and offers eligibility for bonuses and long-term incentive plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in Business, Marketing or Transportation or related field
- Seven (7) years or more demonstrated successful sales management experience including knowledge of competitive analysis, strategizing and execution, and negotiation tools and techniques required
- Travel - up to 50%
- Salaried position with compensation including bonus and LTIP
