Job Summary
Group Director responsible for shaping the client service model for Financial Advisor/Private Wealth Advisor teams, leading development and management of client service strategies, coordinating team operations including reporting, meetings, and performance tracking, and ensuring alignment of team priorities with business goals. Requires senior leadership experience, strong knowledge of financial products (equities, bonds, options, mutual funds, annuities, insurance, managed accounts), exemplary writing and interpersonal skills, proficiency with MS Office and related platforms, and the ability to drive client experience improvements and cross-functional collaboration within Morgan Stanley. The role reports to the Business Service Officer and/or Market Business Service Officer and may involve overseeing staff performance, interviewing candidates, and implementing firm initiatives across a multi-office environment.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years experience in financial services or related field
- Active Series 7 and Series 66 (GS) and Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA) required
- Willingness to obtain additional licenses and/or designations as required
- Advanced degree or professional certification or industry experience required
