Job Summary
Conduct training for new associates and provide daily direction to the work group. Operate high lift equipment, narrow aisle systems, and dock stockers to move, stock, stage, and store products efficiently. Review documents for accuracy, maintain legible logs, and ensure proper stock rotation while pulling and preparing merchandise for shipment. Report unsafe conditions, quality variances, and unsafe practices to supervisors. Open and secure the building as directed and comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards. Assist in physical inventories and maintain facility equipment in a neat, clean, orderly fashion. Work the 2pm-12am Wednesday-Saturday shift at $21.75 plus a $1.00 differential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year experience operating material handling equipment
- Experience operating MHE including dock stocker, cherry picker and high reach
- Position: 2nd shift high lift equipment operator
- Shift: 2pm-12am Wednesday-Saturday
- Pay: $21.75 plus 1.00 shift differential
- Additional Incentives: Employee of the month
- Moving, stocking, staging, and storing products and materials using high lift reach equipment, narrow isle equipment, utilizing electronic wire-guided systems where installed
- Efficiently stock and store merchandise in appropriate areas
- Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is correct
- Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy
- Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards
- Report quality variances
- Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, orderly fashion
- Assist in physical inventories
- Ensure proper stock rotation
- Extend to higher levels than on normal forklift equipment
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
