Job Summary
Group Controller role focused on strengthening the Controlling team within SWARCO ITS and advancing reporting, planning, and controlling structures for an international project business. Acts as a trusted business partner to management and international stakeholders, supporting steering and growth of a dynamic unit. Responsibilities include preparing, analyzing, and developing management reports; coordinating forecasting, budgeting, and planning at group level; advising management teams on financial matters and strategic/operational decisions; conducting in-depth financial and business analyses; contributing to central holding functions; establishing risk and opportunity management processes; driving international finance, transformation and SAP projects; identifying and implementing improvements in reporting/controlling processes; standardizing and harmonizing processes, tools, and standards in collaboration with global finance.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, Accounting, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of relevant professional experience (ideally 10+ years) in Controlling or Finance
- Strong expertise in reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Excellent knowledge of SAP FI/CO or comparable ERP systems, as well as advanced Excel skills
- Experience with BI and reporting tools is an advantage
- Proven experience in establishing and further developing controlling processes, reporting structures, management tools, or group-wide standards
- Experience in risk and opportunity management and working within complex project and corporate structures
- Strong understanding of business and financial interrelationships
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
- Strong analytical and conceptual abilities, high level of initiative, and the capability to actively drive change processes while acting as a trusted business partner to management
