Job Summary
The Group Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of multiple locations, which includes accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and program cost controls. This role involves partnering with the general manager to drive financial metrics, enforce compliance with GAAP and internal policies, manage month-end close processes, and oversee internal and external audits. Candidates must possess strong organizational, leadership, and analytical skills, along with extensive experience in accounting and finance management.
Required Qualifications
- Seven to ten years’ experience in management of accounting and finance functions and personnel
- BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Advanced computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, government contracting and cost control principles including generally accepted accounting principles
- Knowledge of ASC606 revenue standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Highly developed detail organization, initiative, problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed for workload
- Displays exemplary ethics and business conduct and performs work cognizant of safe work practices
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or CPA desirable

- Ability to travel between sites on a weekly basis
