Job Summary
Develop and execute category roadmaps for digital goods and services, linking sourcing strategies to financial outcomes and operational excellence. Drive performance through cost optimization, supplier negotiations, and strategic market exploration while managing contracts and spend analysis. Lead a team of procurement professionals, coaching staff and guiding strategic opportunity assessments to enhance supplier value. Build stakeholder relationships across the business and with partners like Geely Group and Volvo Cars to align on common goals and deliver measurable results. Provide insights to senior leadership to support Polestar's long-term business objectives within a hybrid work model in Gothenburg.
Required Qualifications
- University degree
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering & Management, or a related field
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience
- at least three years of people leadership experience
- Extensive experience in category management, procurement, strategic sourcing, and negotiations within a large enterprise environment
- Strong analytical capabilities, including spend analysis, opportunity assessments, pricing model evaluation, and contract management
- Extensive experience within digital procurement categories, including digital hardware, software licensing, and digital services
