Group Accounts Payable (AP) & Treasury Lead

Job Summary
Direct the complete AP lifecycle, including invoice verification, vendor management, and payment proposal reviews against authorization matrices. Monitor daily bank balances across Group entities, schedule payments to maximize working capital, and manage core banking relationships. Ensure accuracy of bank reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and support month- and year-end closing tasks. Supervise a team of 4 to 6 members by setting clear KPIs, coaching staff, and upskilling personnel. Evaluate workflows to strengthen SOPs, mitigate fraud risks, and implement digital/AI tools to automate manual processes. Act as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors regarding AP and treasury matters, ensuring strict alignment with financial governance and statutory regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 8 years of progressive finance experience
- Minimum of 3 years spent in a supervisory or managerial capacity
- Strong hands-on expertise covering AP operations
- Strong hands-on expertise covering cash flow/treasury management
- Strong hands-on expertise covering bank reconciliations
- Strong hands-on expertise covering closing procedures
- Proficient in ERP systems
- Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel functionalities
- Outstanding communication skills
- Stakeholder management skills
- Proven track record of driving process efficiencies
- Proven track record of navigating fast-paced environments
- Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin/Chinese
Desired Qualifications
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent
