Job Summary
Group Accountant responsible for leading annual and half-year statutory reporting, monthly Group management reporting, and IFRS policy compliance within a multi-currency, international manufacturing/chemicals context. Key duties include liaising with external auditors, preparing technical accounting papers, supporting acquisitions/disposals and budgeting/forecasting, and providing insightful analysis to senior stakeholders (including the Group CFO and Finance Leadership Team). Requires ACA/CA or equivalent qualification with 1–2 years’ post-qualified experience, strong IFRS expertise, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced global head office environment (London) with hybrid working arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- ACA / CA (or equivalent) qualified
- Strong grounding in IFRS and Group reporting
- PQE 1–2 years (post-qualified)
- Background in Big 4 Audit (highly desirable)
- Excellent communication skills that engage senior stakeholders
