Job Summary
Group Account Director responsible for overseeing a portfolio of high-value client accounts and leading a team of Account Directors to deliver superior client experiences and business outcomes. You will ensure strategic consistency, client retention, delivery excellence, and commercial performance across the portfolio, act as a senior advisor to key clients, and provide leadership across strategy, creative, media, production, and resource management teams. You will coach and develop senior account teams, review and challenge account strategies and growth plans, drive portfolio-wide opportunities to strengthen client partnerships, and pursue opportunities aligned with client needs and agency capabilities. The role requires strong leadership, executive communication, stakeholder management, and a track record of growing accounts and profitability in an integrated marketing environment. You will operate in a hybrid remote setup with a base in Maadi, Cairo, Egypt, contributing to a global luxury marketing practice that serves hospitality brands, luxury real estate developers, and disruptive tech startups.
Required Qualifications
- 9+ years of experience in account management, client partnerships, or agency leadership roles.
- Proven experience managing multiple high-value client accounts or portfolios.
- Strong experience leading and developing senior account management teams.
- Demonstrated success driving client retention, account growth, and portfolio profitability.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive-level relationship-building skills.
- Experience working across integrated marketing disciplines including strategy, creative, media, and production.
- Strong commercial understanding of budgeting, forecasting, scope management, and profitability.
