Job Summary
Excavate and prepare sites for construction while installing drainage systems and underground utilities. Operate machinery and tools safely to assist in laying foundations and other groundwork tasks. Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met and maintain a clean, safe work environment. This role requires a valid PTS Sentinel card, CSCS or CPCS qualification, and knowledge of health and safety regulations. The contract is for approximately three months beginning near the end of August, with Monday through Friday hours from 07:00 to 17:00.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in groundwork or a related field, preferably through an internship
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction
- Valid PTS Sentinel card
- CSCS or CPCS qualification
- Ability to operate relevant machinery and tools
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
