Job Summary
Conduct daily tree care operations on General Tree Care crews, focusing on pruning, removals, cable bracing, and other landscape maintenance tasks. Safely operate all equipment including chainsaws and aerial lifts to deliver high-quality service to clients while adhering to strict safety standards. Identify native and introduced tree species to ensure proper care for shade trees and ornamentals. Requires valid U.S. driver's license, CDL preferred, and experience with large shade trees. This role offers competitive pay of $20-25 per hour, full benefits, and opportunities for training and career advancement within SavATree's expanding network.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals
- Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and have a working knowledge of each species' characteristics
- Experience with tree care safety standards
- Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation
- Valid U.S Driver's license
- Must be authorized to lawfully work in the U.S.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds
