Job Summary
Groundsperson performs ground-level vegetation management duties: clearing brush and trees with hand tools and gas-powered equipment, loading/unloading debris, operating trucks and equipment, setting up road signs, flagging traffic, and performing site clean-up. Requires outdoor work in varying weather, physical strength and balance, ability to follow safety practices, and ability to travel for storm restoration. Preferred experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military fields; High School diploma or equivalent preferred; valid driver's license; ability to pass background checks and drug screening; first-aid/CPR as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
- Must have and maintain a Driver’s License if hired for a driving position
- Must be able to obtain and maintain first-aid certification and CPR
