Job Summary
Conduct ground-based vegetation management by clearing debris with handsaws, pole saws, and pruners while defining staging areas and safeguarding employees and the public. Operate various trucks and equipment as assigned, loading and unloading trucks with logs, stumps, and brush, and prepare material for the woodchipper. Perform basic maintenance on vehicles and report major repairs, ensuring all safety rules are followed to maintain a clean work zone. Flag traffic to protect personnel from hazards and handle overtime or weekend work during emergencies. Full-time role with a pay range of $19-$26 an hour, including health, vision, dental, and 401K benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's license
- Must meet I-9 requirements
- Position requires employee to be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries
- CDL
