Job Summary
Groundsperson performs ground-based vegetation work for utility/maintenance: clearing brush and trees from right-of-way using hand saws, pole saws, pruners, loppers, and chain saws; loads/unloads trucks with logs/debris; feeds brush into chipper; uses lines to lower limbs; conducts site cleanup; sets up/breaks down road signs; flags traffic; may drive trucks or operate other equipment; performs basic maintenance on trucks/equipment; adheres to safety practices; may perform storm-work duties; must have valid driver’s license, be able to pass background check and drug screen, obtain CPR/First Aid certification, and wear PPE; must be able to travel for storm restoration work and work outdoors in varying conditions; I-9 compliance and E-Verify participation; equal opportunity employer information included.
Required Qualifications
- Must have valid Driver's License
- High School diploma or education equivalent preferred
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain first-aid certification and CPR
