Job Summary
Cut brush and trees using handsaws, pole saws, pruners, loppers, and gasoline-powered equipment to keep work areas clear. Define staging areas, prepare and feed brush into woodchippers, and load/unload trucks with logs, stumps, and debris. Operate various trucks and equipment as assigned while performing basic maintenance and keeping all gear neat and orderly. Flag traffic and safeguard employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area. Master knot tying, rope breaks, and speed lines per industry standards. Work long hours and overtime during emergencies. This full-time role requires a valid driver's license (CDL preferred) and experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's license
- Must meet I-9 requirements
- This position requires employee to be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred
