Job Summary
Plant trees, shrubs, and other plants according to landscape plans and specifications, ensuring proper spacing, alignment, and fertilization techniques. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment while assisting with loading, unloading, and distributing plants and tools. Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and adhere to safety protocols, including recognizing underground utility markers. Transport and mix soil, fertilizer, and mulch using hand tools, and dig, rake, and screen earth for planting. Demonstrate availability to work any day of the week, including weekends, in outdoor conditions ranging from heat to rain.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform manual labor
- Demonstrated availability to work any day of the week
- Capacity to follow specific instructions and safety protocols
- Must be able to lift and/or move items weighing up to and over 75 lbs
- Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods of time in possibly extreme conditions, including rain, heat, sun, and wind
- Subject to MVR and criminal background check in accordance with applicable fair chance laws, rules, and regulations

Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscaping, horticulture, or a related field
- Previous experience with operating power tools, hand tools, and other equipment
- High School diploma or equivalent
