Job Summary
Assist the crew with equipment and vehicle preparation daily, ensuring drop zones remain safe for coworkers and the public. Perform pruning and reducing, safely operate gas-powered saws, pole saws, and chippers, and load/unload trucks with logs and debris. Set up safety and traffic control measures, maintain professional image, and provide excellent customer service while communicating with crew members and the public. Maintain and service equipment as needed, following all safety procedures and reporting to work on time. Requires a valid driver's license, two years of tree care experience, and ability to lift 25 pounds. Full-time, year-round employment with paid training and certification expenses available.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two year experience in Tree Care Operations
- Valid driver's license
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to work 40 hours or more each week
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions
- Excellent ability to communicate effectively
