Job Summary
Inspect property each morning to pick up trash and maintain cleanliness in common areas, mail rooms, and the pool. Replace lightbulbs, window screens, and air filters; clean AC vents and install or move appliances as needed. Assist with apartment make-readies by vacating units, caulking, and checking smoke detectors. Perform light painting duties and straighten pool equipment. Support the Maintenance Supervisor or Technician with after-hours emergency repairs. Requires high school diploma, groundskeeping experience, ability to lift 100 lbs and climb stairs, and a valid driver's license. Must be able to work after hours.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some experience in groundskeeping, caretaking or janitorial
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to assist with after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Must be able to climb stairs on a regular basis
- Valid driver's license
